What is Silvervine?

Silvervine (scientifically known as Actinidia polygama) is a natural plant native to mountainous regions of Asia, particularly in Japan and China. Often referred to as a "cat attractant," it has effects similar to catnip but is even more potent. Silvervine contains two active compounds, actinidine and dihydroactinidiolide, which trigger a euphoric reaction in cats.

Many cats, including those that do not respond to catnip, are highly attracted to silvervine. It stimulates playful behavior, encourages chewing, and can even help reduce stress in your feline friend.
